How Your Support Makes a Difference

My wife is sick. In 2014, she went through two brain surgeries a year chemo and she died brain cancer in May of 21. I've been listening just to get me through all this. I just somehow flipped to it on the radio and it just gets me through my day.

My husband died earlier this year and a lot of things changed in my life when that happened and I just find that UCB really gives me the encouragement I need and uplifts me and it's very comforting even on a sad day. It can be a lifeline sometimes and it really helps me get through. And lifts my heart.

Been in Fort McMurray now for 20, almost 25 years. So of course coming up here, I did get away from God, but in probably the last 3-4 years ended up going through some stuff. I lost my job and just think after going through that stuff and and getting back with God and getting back to church and just getting my family introduced to God again definitely changed my life and I have that radio station on pretty much 24/7 on in the house. My kids listen to it now. My teenagers and I've been listening to the radio station. Every song is just kind of gets me in that mood. When I go to work now I have it on, at work and people get in the truck and you know, they're kind of chuckle sometimes, but you know, it's just something that I think that resonates with my heart and my soul. With the times that we're in right now and the things that we're going through that I just believe this radio station is very important because we need Jesus right now, that's for sure. Everything that's happened in our lives in the last couple of years has been amazing and it's just been, it's great to see this radio station and the stuff that it's doing for people.

UCB Radio Fundraising Statement

In 2025, United Christian Broadcasters Media Canada (UCB) aims to raise $3,084,000 in total donation revenue to support our ministry, Ignite Hope across Canada through Christian music radio. Approximately, 8% of funds will be allocated to fundraising and 8% to administration. UCB is a federally regulated charity, incorporated in Belleville, Ontario.

If contributions received by UCB exceed the fundraising goal, or if project goals become unachievable as determined by the UCB Board, it reserves the right to allocate funds to similar projects, objectives, or programs in pursuit of UCB's mission, as reasonably determined by the UCB Board.

Restricted Giving Policy

Spending of funds is confined to programs and projects approved by the organization. Should a donor choose to restrict a contribution for use in a particular program or project, we will honour that restriction, with the understanding that, when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by the organization, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where most needed. Gifts are acknowledged and receipted with an official receipt for income tax purposes.
