Emerson Day, a soulful singer-songwriter from Southern Maryland, grew up influenced by southern rock guitar and church piano. Initially pursuing a career in Homeland Security and federal law enforcement, she felt God’s call to music and began playing local shows. Her passion for Christian music was solidified when she led worship and saw someone give their life to Christ. In 2022, Emerson signed with Fair Trade Services and has since been writing and recording music. Her debut in Christian music came with Micah Tyler’s single “People Like Us (feat. Emerson Day)” in January 2024, sharing the power of God’s redemption.
